Affordability

Growing up, I knew the fear of wondering if the heat would stay on through a cold winter, or if my school meals account had enough money for lunch. I have lived with that economic anxiety. My top priority is putting money back into the pockets of Granite State families, ensuring that no hard-working neighbor is ever left behind in our pursuit of a stronger economy.

Cap Healthcare Costs

  • In 2020, New Hampshire capped the co-pay for insulin at $30 under state-regulated health plans (HB 1280). I support expanding these price caps to all life-saving medications, including epinephrine auto-injectors and asthma inhalers.

Embrace Clean Energy

  • I support full funding for NHSaves, which provides rebates to homeowners for making energy-efficient upgrades. Weatherizing homes reduces heating oil and electricity usage, permanently lowering bills.
  • I support legislation to raise the commercial net energy metering cap. Incentivizing municipalities and businesses to build solar canopies puts cheap power directly into the grid and lowers energy costs for everyone.

Fund Social Safety Nets

  • With the Fuel Assistance Program (FAP) facing serious risk of elimination at the federal level, we must create a dedicated State Fuel Assistance Reserve Fund to ensure families do not freeze when federal funds run dry.
  • I support legislation to mandate that the state participate in all available federal food assistance programs, such as Summer EBT. No child should go hungry.
  • I support fully funding NH Medicaid—which covers about 13% of our population, half of whom are children—and defending against attempts to add unnecessary hurdles like strict work requirements or frequent eligibility checks.
