Environment

We must be able to trust the water from our taps and the food on our tables. As a former PFAS researcher at Dartmouth, I understand the present danger “forever chemicals” pose to the health of our neighbors. We need immediate, science-backed policies to protect our natural resources, hold polluters accountable, and ensure every Granite Stater has a safe environment to thrive.

Protect NH From PFAS

  • I support building upon HB 1649 by passing legislation to ban the sale and manufacture of all non-essential consumer products that contain intentionally added PFAS, unless the manufacturer proves its use is currently unavoidable.
  • I support codifying the 2024 EPA drinking water standards at the state level to ensure consistent, rigorous testing and treatment requirements. Everyone deserves access to safe drinking water, whether from municipal supplies or private wells.
  • I support HB 1258, which mandates that NHDES publish a comprehensive, searchable public database of PFAS testing results.
